1 stick butter
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. In a med saucepan, melt butter over low heat (I do this in the microwave). Remove melted butter from heat, add cocoa and stir well. Add sugar; mix well. Add eggs 1 at a time, beat well. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt until just blended. Add nuts, spread in prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Brownies will be ooooey gooooey. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
