Even though this is called "crock pot" chicken, I use this recipe as a "skillet" chicken dish. Just cook the chicken in a skillet and follow the direction below:
4 skinned chicken breasts
1/2 cup water
1 pkg zesty Italian salad mix (dry)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
Place chicken in crockpot. Sift over chicken dry salad mix. Add water and cook on low for 4 hours. When chicken is tender, remove from pot and cut into bite size pieces. Add cream of chicken soup to liquid in the crockpot and add the cheese stirring to cream together until all ingredients are smooth. Add chicken and serve over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
